Blog entry 34.
Jules had intended to do a twenty four hour and an eight hour session this week, but the weather was so downright and miserable that he decided to do two day sessions instead, and he was glad he did. Day one produced six carp and day two produced five carp including surprisingly an A-Team fish.
Hi-Viz hookbaits, small Webcast PVA mesh bags of crumbed Nashbait Citruz Nude/Scopex Squid was the key, followed by accurate casting, sight lines and feeling the lead down. Julian was very happy indeed with the results this week.
Off the bank Jules and his good lady had a lovely winter break at a friend's house near Filey. For once the weather was kind and they walked the beach, enjoyed the town and visited mum and dad's special place. There was a gym only 500 yards away so he was very happy. Not exactly Barcelona but just as good in it's own way.
JC also managed a one mile bike ride, a gym trip at home and made some special hookbaits for the spring.
As always thanks for reading, keep an eye out for Blog entry 35, tight lines and happy angling Jules.
